Article Submission for My Client

I did an article...wrote it for a client to submit to an article directory. How I wished I could have submitted this article to Ezine.com under my own name! I like the way it came out.

I was given the main keyword -scrapbooking and the other second keywords were scrapbooking ideas and scrapbook.

I started it by writing slowly and getting my mind to focus on some creative ideas on how to go about it.

This is always a difficulty for me...how to get to write the first word, the first sentence; in fact it is a very irritating problem for me. I am trying to overcome this by always making myself believe that this is a job I am truly good at, no matter how I may feel.

There are days when I can write as soon as I see my asignments; and I just type away on my keyword. My mind works just as fast as I write straight on the computer.
Of course, this goes with the the prepared research I have done a few hours back before my creative juices got going.

I'm posting it in my blog so I can always read it when I want to.

New York City: The Center of It All

The United States is proud of New York City as its largest state and even prouder to have it as one of the most popular cities in the world. Known as the “Big Apple”, anyone who travels to New York City would experience being in the center of it all since one has convenient access to media, fashion, food, recreation, art, culture, finance and trade.

Brief History of New York City

An Italian explorer named Giovanni Di Verrazzano was the first to discover New York City in 1524. He explored the new world and met with Native Americans. Later on, it was a Dutch traveler named Henry Hudson who introduced European trade and culture to the city. The next 20 years were considered booming years as more immigrants came to the city to find new life to practice culture and religious freedom.

It was around 1664 that the British took interest on the city which was already popularly known as New Amsterdam. Hi...

I haven't been here for a very long time. I somehow forgot that I have this blog.

Yeah, maybe just didn't think it was that important to keep up this kind of thing...

I've been busy with many writing projects that I just couldn't find the time to get back to this one.....

Now I have to do this because I have started to write for Ezine.com and I have 2 articles so far.

I have one pending and hopefully, it would be approved , too.

I have to be active on this blog so I can use this as a link whenever I have to submit an article to Ezine. If I have this as a link in my resource box, then readers would be able to read this blog..

Tha's the main idea... and hopefully, there would prospective employers who would read my articles here....

By the way, writing for Ezine is a good achievement.

I am a newbie in the business world and I am accepting the reality that I may need all the help I can get to make it successful. I would like to make reasonable profits that would help my business continue for as long as possible. My business caters to people who has everyday needs for their homes- cleaning materials, decors, lights and lamps and even pretty curtains. People normally come here to purchase some stuff and pay by using their credit cards. Now this is a payment option that I need to be careful about.

My First Driving Experience

I have always wanted to learn how to drive. My elder siblings took turns in learning some driving tips from each other before taking their driving tests. I remember them driving just within the small space in front of the house and practicing driving in and out of the garage.

Now that I have gotten my driver's license, my first driving experience alone by myself was both exciting and a bit unnerving. Driving through the small streets from our house going to the main highway was just a breeze for me since I've known this streets all my life.

However, driving to the exit route is another matter. This was where I often found myself a bit jittery. It took about 25 to 30 minutes of normal driving to where I would go to work. There would be many cars some days and a few cars in some other days. I just tell myself that it was good to see something else on the road other than cars.

I always make a mental note of highway signs I see along the road. To me, these are one of the best things that can be found in the highway while taking long drives. These are informative, as well as good reminders for drivers like me to take caution while driving. These signs also help in further gauging what is to be expected in the farther end of the highway which drivers don't see yet from their end. They help in fostering safety and smooth operations on the highway.

Driving back and forth everyday can be a bit tiring. That is why from my first driving experience till this day, I just appreciate the good things I see on the highway.

Padre Pio and His Angels

I came across an article about Padre Pio and how he talked about angels. He told his assistant that the angels would translate his Italian language to English for better communication with people who didn't speak the language.

That one day, a priest heard Padre Pio as if he was talking to someone but when he came into the room, there was no one there.The good Padre told him that he was talking to the angels and
discussing with them the requests and favors these angels brought to him to pray for.

Padre Pio also told some of his assistants that the angels told him what they do with the tears people shed when they cry.The tears of each person are saved and put in a chalice.When it is time for the person to face God,then the chalice would be there ,too.

That made me cry.But the feeling is not that sad anymore when I come to think that my tears will be saved by the angels and put inside a chalice.Padre Pio is up there to intercede for me and you along with his angels.

I Like Things in Gold

I have a fancy for anything glittery and shiny. It seems to make me happy when I see bright colors.As a kid, I would always point out the most outstanding color in a set of decorative display at the mall. I found myself staring at this pretty gold statue of a chinese buddha, and I was told this figurine in gold brings good luck. So from then on, I was into collecting buddhas in their color of gold because I really believed in good luck.

Now ,that I have grown up, I am still partial to gold. I have learned about their value.I have invested in gold jewelry.I am now into getting myself some gold coins collection, which I have discovered as quite a good investment.

In fact, my grandmother had a bracelet made of gold coins with the picture of Queen Elizabeth dating back in the sixteenth century.A collector of gold coins wanted to buy it but my grandmother didn't want to sell because she wanted it to be a family heirloom. Also still part of our heirloom was a small box of gold coins in different sizes which my grandmother gave away to the rest of her family as time went by.

We ,as grandchildren were lucky to have such a grandmother who knew about the value of her gold coins bracelet. Each of us has a gold coin from her gold coins bracelet. That is really a good piece of heirloom.

I now have a gold coin pendant courtesy of my grandmother.I also have gold jewelry which I bought in time. So now I am happy with my shiny and glittery collection of gold and hope to collect more in the future.

Hohummmm. it's been quite a while . I got distracted to a better cause (only my own opinion)... that of teaching. Yup, I did some honest to goodness tutorial job to some gradeschool and highschool students. Let me tell you this...It was and is still life-changing... a good feel kind of job. Somehow , it was truly self-fulfilling. It really is , this is because you get to impart knowledge to people who want to learn and understand more about life in general.

Come to think of it, I got to learn a lot ,too. Patience is not really one of my virtues , but I learned to have more of it during my tutorial stint. I was more compassionate, understanding and sympathetic to my students.

Probably the most I got from my tutorial job is that my students really learned well...Proof ?
Well, the mothers happily told me that their grades have increased, no more grades of 78 or 79 , but more of 84 - 89. That's a lot of improvement! One mom told me that her son is now in the top ten of his class.!!! Applaus...applaus!!!

Vacation is almost here, and school days will be over. Maybe I will take time out now to do more writing. I am glad to be back !!

I finished my article and I found it impossible ( at least for me..) to submit it to my supposedly employer...Asked myself where, how , why ...is this happening???

Thank God for brothers ..as I have one who gently told me to click in my complete url so it can be sent ...I forgot to type in the www. . .. crazy ....me ..hahaha.. lol (laughing out loud as if you didn't know! )..and omg..for having my senior moments which I don't need at least for a very long time...yet... lol !!!

Hello everyone! This is really an exciting day for me because I am writing on the internet for the first time ever. My expectations are just so mixed right now , so I guess it just has to be an attitude of anything goes ...
For starters , those who love chocnut like me get a lot of kisses(no pun intended) from me!Who wouldn't love chocnut with its sweet and crunchy taste , and to top it all , its cheap !! Chocnut has been my first candy ever since I realized what candy was (age doesn't matter,,haha!) and it still is today. As I am doing this , I have a handful beside me !Ummmm,,yummy..
Thanks for reading about me. I may come out soon with other things to share with all of you.I like doing this ..writing stuff on a free thinking sort of way .. and hopefully later on get paid for it!! What a nice thought for the day ! :)
